How to Uninstall Apps on Mac

Over a period of time and with constant use, our Mac can become overloaded with apps. Some of them we no longer make use of; others, we never really needed, were just there from the very start. Delete non-App Store apps

There are other kinds of apps that were not downloaded from the Macs App Store rather we got them from the web. Deleting them requires you to go through the Finder.

  1. Locate the Finder icon which is usually in the Dock and click on it.
  2. Right on the sidebars click on Applications.
  3. Now, a list of apps will be made available to you, find the app you want to delete. Also, there is a search option provided where you can easily input the name of the app you want to be removed and hit search.
  4. Right click on the app.
  5. Now go ahead and click “Move to Trash”.
  6. Go to your Dock and locate the trash icon.
  7. Empty the Trash icon by clicking on “Empty”.
